Meet Leisa & Family

Meet beautiful mum Leisa of @wedsetter_ in Indigo Kids Seminyak. With her family and dedicated team, she creates unforgettable celebrations filled with meaningful details.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family

We are a family of four with two energetic and fun kids who love a sense of adventure moving from Australia to Indonesia 2.5 years ago.

What are some words you might use to describe yourself as a mother?

Kind, Nurturing, Brave & Protective

@wedsetter_ is such a pioneer in weddings, what inspires you in this work

So much inspires me.. you only have to stop and look around when living in Bali.

Our little family, being able to show them what we do, eyes wide open and letting them in on it all. They see everything, the challenging and the good.

Travel, art, traditions, the people, their creativity. The opportunity to work with beautiful details, materials, towards creating someone’s ’best day ever’.

Our beautiful team who all bring something amazing and unique to the experience.

And then looking back on what we did, what we’ve achieved, taking all of that in, celebrating it and then doing it again.

Describe the perfect day in Bali with your tribe?

Just one perfect day? There are so many here. We have such a fast paced life that I think for us, it would be a slow day. Home made waffles with honey for brekkie, still in our pj’s at 9am, just listening to the stories of what happened throughout the week.

At the beach by 10, watching their Dad teaching them how to surf with all the other local kids. Swich for lunch, some chill time under the umbrella, home to wash off and finish with an arvo BBQ at friends where the day rolls into night, filled with good food, wine, cocktails and the people we love!

What does joy look and feel like to you?

I think joy comes in so many ways.
Travel, good food, family, great friends. Watching your children succeed at something they’ve been striving for, listening to them sing & giggle in the shower, your children sharing something special about their day, celebrating someone we loves birthday, dinner with good friends, having a big deal come off that you’ve been working on for months, traveling as a family. Every day is different and every piece of joy is as important as the next.

My parents have always instilled in us as kids to choose happiness, choose joy when you wake up in the morning and I still do that today.
